Switch to normal mode by clicking the pointer. The normal mode is where most of the work is done. Only when you want to move entities will you click the move button.

 

 

Click on the move icon if you want to move an object. This can be a single element or if multiple elements are selected, all of them will be moved.

In the normal move mode, elements are moved in total. When you only want to move a single entity of an element, keep the ALT key in when moving. This applies when moving a single node of an area, block or polyline. It is also used when moving the start or end angle of a pivot.

While moving elements you may also press the page up or page down key to rotate the selected entities.

 

  

Finger:

The finger can increase or decrease the size of pivot or lateral spans. It can also change the size of an area or block.

 

Hand:

Use the hand to move the workspace. Select the hand, click on the workspace and hold in your mouse button to move the workspace around.
 
 
 Redo:

Redo an action if you did not intend to undo it. Click the icon or use Ctrl-R.
 

 
 Undo:

Undo an action if you did not intend to do it. Up to 10 actions can be undone. Click the icon or use Ctrl-Z.

Snap:
With the Snap option not selected, entites are added to the project is done in freehand mode. Activate the snap option when the cursor must jump to the closest entity when adding new elements.
 
Highlight:
The highlight does not have an effect in the way elements are managed except that as you move the cursor around, the closest entity will light up.
This gives you better visual control when selecting and moving elements.

Pipe Velocity:
When checked this will display pipe velocities on the pipes. Location and font size can be changed in Preferences.
 
Pipe Length:
When checked this will display pipe lengths on the pipes. Location and font size can be changed in Preferences.
 
Pipe Diameter:
When checked this will display pipe diameters on the pipes. Location and font size can be changed in Preferences.
 
Node Number:
When checked this will display node numbers on the nodes. Font size can be changed in Preferences.
 
Node Pressure:
When checked this will display node pressure on the nodes. Font size can be changed in Preferences.
